Fall Series - Race Day 2  Cancelled due to lack of wind

As far as yesterday’s planned racing in the Fall Race Series - we got hosed by the winds Gods.  We waited until 1:30 for wind and then called it off.  Wes & Mary went to watch football, Jeff and Skatie went bird hunting and I packed up my boat for the trip home.  Of course, then the wind came in! Conrad, Robbie and Randy were seen blasting around the river as I head off.  Dang!  Somedays you just can't win.

Last time we waited until 2:30 and got no wind. 

NOTE:  In the future, we will use 2:00 pm as the cut off time.  The course will be set and if there is not enough wind by 2:00 pm the racing will be called off.  (Picture from similar slow day a couple years ago. - Ed.)
